Admin accounts in Otus include all the features available to teacher accounts, plus additional administrative capabilities designed for district-level oversight. From monitoring platform usage to managing students, teachers, and assessment data, the admin account gives you the tools to support your school site(s) from a single platform.

⚙️ How It Works
When you log in to Otus, your Activity Dashboard loads as your home page. It displays high-level, interactive charts showing how the district is using Otus, giving you an at-a-glance view of platform engagement across your sites (schools).
❗ The Activity Dashboard is the landing page for Main Admin and Admin accounts. The Teacher account has a different home page.

🏫 District
The District module is your hub for managing the people and places within your permissions. From here, you can:
View the Sites (schools) you have permissions for.
Search and manage Teachers and Students within your permissions.
Create, edit, or delete Student Groups and Teacher Groups.
Manage Recognitions.
The Analytics module is where you analyze student data housed within Otus. Admin accounts have access to:
Attendance reports
Recognition reports
Assessments analytics
Standards analytics
3rd Party analytics
Reports including Query, Historical, and Report Cards.
❗️The Exports section is only available in the Main Admin account.
🏫 Classes
The Classes module gives you access to class rosters, student profiles, messaging tools, and class information for any class within your permissions. From here, you can communicate with students and families, manage class settings, and view student-level details.
📖 Lessons
The Lessons module is where you can view lessons assigned to any class within your permissions. You can also build and assign your own lessons directly from this module.
The Bookshelf module allows you to upload and share resources with students or teachers across any class within your permissions.
The Assessments module gives you full control over the assessment lifecycle. From here you can:
Create and edit assessments
Assign assessments to classes across the district
Grade submitted student work
Share folders of assessments with teachers
Send locked copies of assessments to ensure assessment integrity
The Gradebook module gives you two ways to view student performance for any students you have permissions to view:
Assessments View: shows scores across all graded assessments
Standards View: shows performance based on standards, aggregated across all relevant assessments
🗂️ Plans
The Plans module allows you to create and manage individualized learning plans for students and track their progress throughout the year. (Contact your Client Experience Partner to add Plans to your district.)
✍️ Blog
The Blog module lets you view and engage with blog posts for any class within your permissions, supporting communication between teachers and students at scale.

The Help module connects you directly to the Otus Help Center from anywhere in the platform, so support is always just one click away.
🚀 Getting Started
Step 1: Log in to Otus. Your Activity Dashboard will load automatically.
Step 2: Navigate to the District module to review your sites, teachers, and students.
Step 3: Use the left-hand navigation menu to explore each module at your own pace.
