🚀 New Features

  • Advanced Assessments: Enable Calculator for Entire Assessments

Educators can now enable Learnosity’s calculator for an entire Advanced Assessment at once, making it available to students on every question.

    Key Benefits

    • Enable the calculator once instead of configuring each question individually

    • Students have calculator access across all assessment items

    • Eliminates missed or inconsistent calculator settings

    • Streamlines assessment setup for teachers

🛠️ Updates & Enhancements

  • Otus Insights: Advanced Query System

Insights is evolving from static summaries to a more interactive, conversational experience. Truly making Insights an AI assistant.

    • You Can Compare Different Reports

      • Load two different reports (such as "Fall Math" and "Spring Math"), then ask the Al to compare them.

    • You Can Ask "Who?"

      • Ask specific questions, such as, "Which students in Grade 5 scored below 70 in math?" The system will list the actual names of those students for you.

    • You Can Custom Filter

      • Mix and match rules using plain English, such as "Show me all ELL students at Lincoln Elementary who scored below proficient." The system understands how to find exactly that group.

  • Google Integration: API Change

Due to recent changes made by Google, we are no longer able to manage permissions on Google Drive files attached to assessments.

    • As a result, when a student submits a rubric-based assessment with a Google Drive file attached, ownership of the file will no longer transfer to the teacher. This means students will continue to have the ability to edit their Google Drive files even after the assignment has been submitted.

      • Recommended Best Practice
To review a student’s work as it existed at the time of submission, we recommend using Google’s Version History, which allows educators to view and restore earlier versions of a document if needed.
