In the Points Gradebook

If you added a + assessment to the points gradebook, follow the directions below to edit the details, add additional scores, assign to additional students, or unassign from students.

➡️ Edit the Details

  • Step 1: Within the Assessments module, select the Assigned page.

  • Step 2: Selects the ellipsis to the right of the desired assessment and select Edit.

  • Step 3: Edit the desired information.

Title, Type, Point Value, and Standards

  • Title: You can change the assessment title.

  • Type: Select the dropdown arrow to change the assessment type.

  • Points: You can change the number of points the assessment is worth.

  • Standards: You can add or remove standards. To add standards, select Link Standards. To remove standards, select the X on the standard you wish to remove

Submission Date and Include Score in Final Grade

  • Submission Date: Select the calendar icon to change the submission date.

  • Include Score in Final Grade: Select the toggle to turn this setting ON or OFF

➡️ Add Additional Scores

  • To add additional scores, double-click inside the box of the student you want to give a score to. You can also multi-select to give more than one grade at a time.

➡️ Assign to Additional Students

❗ This is how you unassign the + assessment from students as well!

  • While in your assigned assessments module, select the ellipsis next to the assessment and choose Manage Assignees.

  • Checking an empty box will assign the assessment to that student.

  • Unchecking a. box will unassign the assessment from that student.


In the Standards Gradebook

If you added a + assessment to the points gradebook, follow the directions below to edit the details, add additional scores, assign to additional students, or unassign from students.

➡️ Edit the Details

  • Step 1: Within the Assessments module, select the Assigned page.

  • Step 2: Selects the ellipsis to the right of the desired assessment and select Edit.

  • Step 3: Edit the desired information.

Title, Type, Grading Scale, and Standards

  • Title: You can change the assessment title.

  • Type: Select the dropdown arrow to change the assessment type.

  • Grading Scale: You are not able to change the grading scale of an assigned + assessment. If you need to use a different grading scale, you'll want to create a new + assessment.

  • Standards: You can add or remove standards. To add standards, select Link Standards. To remove standards, select the X on the standard you wish to remove

Submission Date

  • Submission Date: Select the calendar icon to change the submission date.

➡️ Add Additional Scores

  • Step 1: Navigate to your Assigned Assessment

  • Step 2: Select the name of the + assessment

  • Step 3: Add the additional scores.

➡️ Assign to Additional Students

❗ This is how you unassign the + assessment from students as well!

  • While in your assigned assessments module, select the ellipsis next to the assessment and choose Manage Assignees.

  • Checking an empty box will assign the assessment to that student.

  • Unchecking a. box will unassign the assessment from that student.
