Add Additional Scores

For Points-Based Assessments:

You can add additional scores directly in your gradebook.

  • Double-click on the score field for any student you need to grade.

  • Grade multiple students at once by selecting the checkmark to the left of the student names and entering the score for just one of the students. The same score will populate for all selected students.

For Standards-Based Assessments:

  • Step 1: From the Assessments module, select the Assigned page.

  • Step 2: Choose the correct class from the Classes dropdown.

  • Step 3: Click on the assessment's status bar to open the grading page.

  • Step 4: Click on the score column and select the correct grading scale level.

💡Tip: This grading view is designed to make grading a quick process you can complete directly from your keyboard.

  • Type the first letter of the grading scale level to select the correct grading scale value.

  • Press enter/return or tab on your keyboard to move to the next student.

  • Go back to a previous student by press shift+tab.

Assign to Additional Students

  • Step 1: From the Assessments module, select the Assigned page.

  • Step 2: Choose the correct class from the Classes dropdown.

  • Step 3: Select the ellipsis to the right of the desired assessment and select Manage Assignees.

  • Step 4: Check an empty box in the student's row to assign the assessment to that student. Uncheck a box in the student's row to unassign the assessment from that student.

❗ If you'd like to delete the assignment from your gradebook entirely for ALL students, you can choose Unassign from the same menu.
