Do you need to edit the details of a + Assessment, add additional scores, or assign it to additional students? You've come to the right place.

Edit the Details

  • Step 1: From the Assessments module, select the Assigned page.

  • Step 2: Choose the correct class from the Classes dropdown.

  • Step 3: Select the ellipsis to the right of the desired assessment and select Settings.

  • Step 4: Edit the desired information.

Title, Type, Point Value, and Standards

  • Title: You can change the assessment title.

  • Type: Select the dropdown arrow to change the assessment type.

  • Points: You can change the number of points the assessment is worth (for points-based assessments only).

  • Grading Scale: You are not able to change the grading scale of an assigned + (plus) assessment. If you need to use a different grading scale, you'll want to create a new + (plus) assessment (for standards-based assessments only).

  • Standards: You can add or remove standards. To add standards, select Link Standards. To remove standards, select the X on the standard you wish to remove. You can add additional standards by selecting Link Standards.

Submission Date and Include Score in Final Grade

  • Submission Date: Select the calendar icon to change the submission date.

  • Include Score in Final Grade: Select the toggle to turn this setting ON or OFF

Add Additional Scores

  • You can add additional scores directly in your gradebook.

  • Double-click inside the box of the student you want to give a score to. You can also multi-select to give more than one grade at a time.

Assign to Additional Students

  • Step 1: From the Assessments module, select the Assigned page.

  • Step 2: Choose the correct class from the Classes dropdown.

  • Step 3: Select the ellipsis to the right of the desired assessment and select Manage Assignees.

  • Step 4: Check an empty box in the student's row to assign the assessment to that student. Uncheck a box in the student's row to unassign the assessment from that student.

❗ If you'd like to delete the assignment from your gradebook entirely for ALL students, you can choose Unassign from the same menu.
