PLEASE READ FIRST:
Before you created a school account, please check the following:
Is the student's district or school using Otus?
Have you received communication from the student's school or district regarding account login information?
If you answered yes to either of the above questions, it is very likely that your student already has an Otus account. To avoid confusion and duplicate accounts, please refer to any communication sent from the district, or reach out to a district administrator before you create an account.
Setting Up Your Account
Welcome to Otus! In order to create an account, go to https://my.otus.com.
Fill in the form to create your account. It is best to use an active email, to get any emails your teacher may send you through the Otus mailbox, but an active email isn't required.
Note: Passwords must contain at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
Once you've created your account, you should automatically be logged in for the first time, and you'll see a blank screen with a button that says Join Class. All teachers using Otus will have a specific class code for each of their classes. Once you have that code, click Join Class, and enter that code.
If you added the correct code, you should see the class pop up immediately in your Classes section. If you click on the class tile, you can see what your teacher has posted on the class board for the day.
