Student View

The student can view a comment on an Advanced Assessment either in the assessment itself or from the points gradebook.

In the Assessment

Keep in mind, in order to see a comment directly in the assessment:

  • The assessment must be graded.

  • "Allow Post Grading Review" must be enabled. This will allow the student to access the assessment after it has been graded.

Once the assessment has been graded, the student will navigate to their Assessments module, select the assessment, select Review, and scroll to the bottom to see the comment:

Is the student missing the Review button when they click on the assessment? That means the "Allow Post Grading Review" setting has not been enabled. Click here for more information.

In the Gradebook

Rather than going to the assessment itself, students can view comments from the gradebook.

Once they are in their assessments gradebook, the comments can be found in the last column.
