⚙️ How It Works

Teachers access the Class Board by navigating to the Classes module and selecting Class Board from the secondary navigation menu. From there, you can view all posts for a selected class, create new posts, pin important announcements, and manage existing content using the ellipsis menu on each post. Each post requires a title, message content, and at least one audience (class). Posts appear in reverse chronological order, with pinned posts always displayed at the top.

Students access the Class Board by navigating to the Classes module and selecting a class tile. Students can view published posts, search by keyword, view comments and attachments, and comment on posts when commenting has been enabled. Students receive a notification when a new post is published in any of their classes.

Families access the Class Board through the Classes module and their student's class tile. Families can view published posts, search by keyword, and view comments and attachments. Families can see comments from the teacher and their own student, but cannot see comments from other students, and cannot comment themselves. Families are notified when a new post is published.

📌 Tip: Use the scheduling feature to plan your communication. Queue up the week's announcements ahead of time so your students and families always have what they need.
