The Plus (+) Assessment feature allows teachers to quickly enter scores/grades for assessments and assignments you’ve given outside of Otus (example: observation, exit slip). This assessment is created directly in the gradebook.

There may be a time when you need to delete/remove this grade from the gradebook. Continue reading to learn how.

Before You Continue, Please Read:

  • Once you create a + (plus) assessment, you can find it in the Assigned Assessments for the class in which it was assigned.

  • Once a + (plus) assessment is deleted/unassigned, it cannot be restored. Please remove these grades with caution.

  • Step 1: Navigate to your Assessments module.

  • Step 2: Select Assigned assessments.

  • Step 3: Select the correct class.

  • Step 4: Locate the + Assessment in the list of assigned assessments and select the ellipsis.

  • Step 5: Select Unassign which will delete the grade from the gradebook.

  • Step 6: Select Yes to confirm.

Please Note: Deleting/unassigning a + (plus) assessment cannot be undone. Please remove these grades with caution.
