Otus makes it easy to find and contact your student's teachers. Each teacher's email address is listed right on their class, so you can reach out with questions, share updates, and cheer on your student's progress.
🔑 Key Functions
Find a teacher's contact information: Open your student's class to see the teacher's name and email address.
Filter by grading period: Use the dropdown to view classes for a specific grading period, if your district uses them.
Contact a teacher: Email the teacher directly from their class page.
✅ Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
An active Otus family account. Don't have an account yet? Click here!
At least one student linked to your account.
🔢 Find a Teacher's Email Address
Step 1: From My Students, select the student whose teacher you want to contact.
Step 2: On the student's dashboard, select View Class Grades.
Step 3: On the Classes page, find the class of the teacher you need and select it.
💡Tip: If the district uses Grading Periods, use the dropdown to narrow the list.
Step 4: At the top of the class page, you'll see the teacher's name and email. Click the email to open your default email app with a pre-addressed message ready to write, or copy it into the email app you use.
💡 Tip: Before reaching out, check the Student Dashboard and Assessments sections. You may find the answer you're looking for without needing to email.

Can I email all of my student's teachers at once?
No. Each class lists its own teacher, so you'll reach out to one teacher at a time.
I clicked the email address and nothing happened. What should I do?
This usually means your device doesn't have a default email app set up. Copy the address instead and paste it into the email app you use.
Where will the teacher's reply go?
Replies come back to the email inbox that you sent the message from.
