🛠️ Updates & Enhancements

  • Advanced Assessment Builder: Question Type Reordering

    • When building an Advanced assessment, the 7 Desmos math item types have been moved to the bottom of the question type list in the Author tool, so the most commonly used question types now appear first without needing to scroll past math options.


🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Advanced Assessments

    • Resolution

      • The Instructor Stimulus input now displays correctly for educators when building Advanced Assessments.

    • Resolution

      • Fixed a visual display issue affecting the $ character in the Advanced Assessment Builder.

  • Rubric

    • Resolution

      • Scrolling with a trackpad while focused on a point input field on the Class Grading page no longer changes the numerical value unexpectedly.

🚀 New Features

  • NEW Family Experience

    Families now have access to a redesigned, mobile-first hub that gives them easy access to the most important information about their student(s).

Key Benefits/Details:

  • Access your child's grades, assignments, and academic progress from any device, no app download required. Just visit my.otus.com from your mobile browser.

  • Get an instant snapshot of what's due or missing right from the Student Dashboard.

  • Dig into Assessments and Standards to see scores, completion status, and how your child is performing against academic standards across their classes.

  • Switch easily between profiles if you have more than one student in Otus.

  • Opt in to the new experience whenever you're ready, and switch back anytime if there's a feature you still need.


🛠️ Updates & Enhancements

  • Skills-Based Portfolio: Microsoft OneDrive Integration

    • Students and teachers can now attach a file through Microsoft OneDrive when adding an artifact to a skill-based Portfolio.

  • Rubric: Grading Improvements

    • When grading a point-based Rubric assignment on the Class Grading page, drop-downs have been replaced with point input fields, allowing educators to type in any value between the min and max points configured for the assessment.

      • The Historical Report now loads and renders charts correctly for assignments using Otus assignment criteria.

  • Assessments

    • Resolution

      • The long division symbol now renders properly when building Advanced Assessments.

    • Resolution

      • Passages no longer go missing when printing paginated Advanced Assessments.

  • Advanced Assessments: Builder Redesign

    When creating Advanced Assessments, users will now see a redesigned Builder for an even smoother experience.

    • A Brand New Look

      • The Builder has an updated, modern design, giving you a clear and comfortable space to build your items.

    • See Full Standard Details

      • The Manage Standards modal shows the complete breadcrumb path for each standard, so you can confirm you're selecting the correct choice at a glance.

    • Updated Mastery Item Bank Filter

      • The Mastery Item Bank filter has a revamped layout, giving you a streamlined view as you search for what you need.

    • Manage Standards in One Place

      • Link and unlink standards in the bottom half of the page while adding or editing items, keeping everything together in a dedicated spot.

  • AI Insights: Insights Module

    The AI Insights Module is now a full-page AI experience in Otus, accessible directly from the left-hand navigation bar. Ask questions in plain language and get instant, data-driven results, all in one dedicated space.

    Key Benefits/Details:

    • Quickly uncover trends across assessment, standards, and student data.

    • Compare student groups and identify needs without switching pages.

    • Identify students who need support and take immediate action.

    • Keep all your data conversations organized with re-visitable chats.

    • Save time so you can focus more on students and less on data analysis.

    • Give administrators a district-wide view that connects data to decisions.


🛠️ Updates & Enhancements

  • Analytics: Insights Button on 3rd Party Page

    • In the Analytics module's 3rd Party page, users can now access an Insights button to quickly open and engage with the AI Insights Module directly from their data.

  • 3rd Party Automation: aimswebPlus

    • On a nightly basis, Otus will automatically ingest all aimswebPlus data that Pearson sends for configured districts, eliminating manual uploads and ensuring data stays current.

  • Teachers / Co-Admins

    • Resolution

      • Co-Admins are now filtered correctly by Site, ensuring the appropriate users display based on their site permissions.

  • Portfolio

    • Resolution

      • Educators can now open Rubric assignments that were assigned in archived classes.

  • Skills-Based Portfolio

    • Resolution

      • Administrators no longer encounter an error when clicking into a specific grade level within the Skills-Based Portfolio.
