Do you have an assessment that was assigned and completed in the wrong class or subject area? If so, you can easily transfer the assessment to the correct class so that scores show in the appropriate section in the Otus gradebook and report cards.
❗ Please note: You must be the main teacher of both classes in order to move an assessment from one class to another.
Step 1: Navigate to your Assessments module.
Step 2: Select Assigned.
Step 3: Choose the class the assessment is currently assigned to.
Step 4: Click on the ellipsis to the right of the desired assessment.
Step 5: Select Move Assessment.
Step 6: In the dropdown box, select the class you wish to move the assessment to.
Step 7: Click Continue.
If only a portion of the students in the new class match the students in the original class, the assessment data for ONLY the matching students will be moved.
Step 8: A final confirmation message will appear. Click Move to move the assessment for all matching students.
💡 Tip: After the assessment has been moved, you will remain on the assigned assessments page for the class the assessment was moved from. To check that the assessment was moved successfully, select the class it was moved to from the classes dropdown list on your assigned assessment page.

Who is able to move an assigned assessments?
The main teacher of the class can move the assigned assessment.
Are there restrictions as to which class the assessment can be moved to?
The only restriction involves the main teacher - a user has to be the main teacher of both the original and receiving class for the assessment to move successfully.
When the assessment is moved, does the assessment also disappear from the assigned assessments list for the original class?
Yes, if all of the students matched. If one more more students did not match in the new class, the assessment will remain in the original class, as well as being moved to the new class.
Do the students in the new class receive a notification on their notification feed for this assessment?
No, there will not be a notification on the notification feed.
