By embedding web-based resources in Otus, you can easily share those tools with students and they never have to leave the platform, allowing them to access content from most anywhere all within a single platform!

Where in Otus can I use HTML Embedding?

Embedding in Otus

When you see a text creation box, you’ll notice an HTML icon on the text features toolbar.

  • Step 1: Click on the button indicated below to switch to the HTML editor. The example below uses the Page feature on the Otus Bookshelf. This same method can be used when adding a Page to an activity in a Lesson.

NOTE: When accessing the HTML editor, you’ll notice that all the other options become grayed out.

  • Step 2: Paste the embed code (HTML link) you were given by the 3rd party content provider, such as Google Forms.

  • Step 3: Select the green checkmark icon. You will then see a preview of the content.

  • Step 4: Select Done. You should now see your content embedded and easily accessible for you and your students in Otus!
