By embedding web-based resources in Otus, you can easily share those tools with students and they never have to leave the platform, allowing them to access content from most anywhere all within a single platform!

Embedding in Otus

When you see a text creation box, you’ll notice an HTML icon on the text features toolbar. Click on this button to switch to the HTML editor. The example below uses the Page feature on the Otus Bookshelf.

When accessing the HTML editor, you’ll notice that all the other options become grayed out.

Next, paste the embed code you were given by the 3rd party content provider, such as Google Slides.

When you’ve finished, select the HTML button again.

After you hit ok, you will see a preview of the content that will appear as a red box with the word iFrame written in it. Don’t worry, it’s working!

Once you hit Done you should now see your content embedded and easily accessible for you and your students in Otus!
