Understand Your Total Score

You were graded by a panelist of 3-5 administrators or teachers from your school. Each panelist graded you on the seven standards for your Defense of Learning. Those scores were averaged to provide your average score per standard and your total score.

❶ Average Score per Standard

The highlighted score shows for each standard shows the average score awarded by the panelists. For a more detailed description of each score (Needs Improvement, Developing Understanding, Approaching Readiness, and Ready or Excelling), please see your teacher.

❷ Average Score per Standard

Your total score is calculated by averaging the scores you earned on each standard. This is your overall grade on your Defense of Learning.
