Panel Grading for rubric assessments allows multiple educators to grade a student’s rubric assessment. This will allow for the standardized administration and grading of the Defense of Learning (DoL) presentations by the fifth, eighth, and eleventh grade students at Jefferson County Public Schools. The student presentations will be graded by a panel of 3-5 educators, including the teacher of record. Each panelist scores the presentations individually in the rubric assessment. Each panelist's score will be averaged to calculate the student's final grade.

This article will direct you to the step-by-step guide for each part of the Defense of Learning presentation and grading process.
