Simple and Rubric Assessments

The steps for adding audio to Simple and Rubric assessments are identical, with the exception of the first step (how to add an attachment in general). After step 1, all steps are the same.

  • Step 1 (Simple): Select the Audio icon when creating a question.

  • Step 1 (Rubric): Select Choose File under the Attachments section in your rubric draft. Then select the Audio icon.

  • Step 2: Choose how you want to add your audio.

    • If you want to add audio that is already on your device, select Browse. The maximum file size is 30mb.

    • If you want to record live audio with your device, select Record Audio. The audio recording can be up to 5 minutes long.

If choosing to record audio, follow steps 3-6. If you are adding an audio file that is already on your device, skip these steps.

Step 3: Select the microphone icon.

Step 4: Select the record button.

Step 5: When you are done recording, select the stop button.

Step 6: Add a name to your audio recording, then select Save.
