At times, you may need to add an image or picture of your work as part of an assignment in Otus. We show you the different ways of adding images below.

1️⃣ To get started, choose to add an attachment. It looks a bit different depending on where you are in Otus.

Click "Choose File" under Student Attachments.

Click on "Choose a file or drag it here."

Click + Add Item in the corner, add the details, and then click Upload to Portfolio.

Make sure you are in "My Bookshelf." Then, click the + button and choose Resource.

Recording on an iPad

iPads do not support recording audio directly into Otus. You can upload an audio file, but you won't be able to record directly into Otus.

2️⃣ When you see the box of choices, select the audio recording icon.

3️⃣ Choose how you want to add your voice recording.

  • If you want to add an audio recording that is already on your device, select Browse.

  • If you want to record a live audio recording with your device, select Record Audio. The audio recording can be up to 5 minutes long.

➡️ Add a Recording

  • Select Browse.

  • Find the audio recording on your device and choose Open.

  • Name the audio recording and choose Save.

➡️ Record a Live Recording

  • Select the microphone icon in the middle of the recording box.

  • Select the record button in the lower-left corner.

  • When you are done recording, select the stop button in the lower-left corner.

  • Add a name to your voice recording and select Save.
