Add Otus to Your Email Contacts

This will show you how to add our Otus Mailbox email address to your contact list to avoid messages going to your junk or spam folders.

Teachers and Family Members

If you aren't receiving messages sent to you from the Otus Mailbox, it is possible that they are going to your junk or spam folders. To remedy this, you will want to add mailbox@otus.com to your contacts list. See below for how to add a contact in various email platforms.

Students

If student's aren't receiving messages sent from the Otus Mailbox, it may have something to do with your district's email settings. Sometimes, student email filters are controlled by the district. We suggesting contacting your IT department to make sure that students are able to receive messages from mailbox@otus.com. You could also reach out to us in our chat feature or send an email to support@otus.com with any questions you have.


Adding Contacts

Gmail

  • Step 1: Login to your Gmail account.

  • Step 2: Select the Google Apps icon.

  • Step 3: Select Contacts from the list of available apps.

  • Step 4: Select Create Contact

  • Step 5: Add mailbox@otus.com as the contact. As long as mailbox@otus.com is the email address, the first and last names can be whatever you'd like.

Yahoo

  • Make sure you use the email address of mailbox@otus.com as the new contact. The first and last name can be whatever you'd like.

Microsoft Outlook

  • Make sure you use the email address of mailbox@otus.com as the new contact. The first and last name can be whatever you'd like.
