When building a template in the plans module, administrators can select a 3rd Party dataset to automatically pull into individual students’ plans. All historical scores that have been imported for the datasets you select will be available after a nightly sync. This means that any time new data has been uploaded to the dataset, the data in the plan will also update.

Automating the Data

From the plans module, you can either create a new template or choose to edit an existing template.

Creating a New Item

If you're creating a new item, type the item name and click Select Scale. Choose Connect to Otus Data Source.

Select the 3rd Party Data and Assessment you'd like to use. Then choose Connect.

The data will sync and be visible in the plan after an overnight sync.

Editing an Existing Item

If you have already been manually tracking 3rd party datasets in one of your plans, you will add a new status column.

Choose Connect to Otus Data Source.

Select the 3rd Party Data and Assessment you'd like to use. Then choose Connect.

After you've connected the new data column, you can delete the original status column to eliminate confusion. Select the ellipsis and choose Delete Column.

Now there will only be the automated data visible in your student plans.

Viewing the 3rd Party Data

Any students who are added to your plan will now have their 3rd data assessment automatically populating in the plan.

From your plans module, select the student you'd like to see.

Scroll to the correct section to see the most recent scores.

To view all historical scores for that 3rd party dataset, click directly on the item name. Each data point represents a different attempt and those attempts are listed in the table below.
