Answers that are only one word in length. This is used as a fill-in-the-blank where the students type answers into response boxes within a set of text.

Step 1: Select Cloze with Text within the Fill in the Blanks (Cloze) question types.
Step 2: Enter the directions.
Step 3: Enter the question using the "r" to insert a response/fill in the blank box.
Step 4: Set the point value for the question. (This question can be auto-graded since there is one specific correct answer.)
Step 5: Type in the correct response.
Short Text
Step 1: Select Short text within the Written & Recorded question types.
Step 2: Enter the question.
Step 3: Set the point value for the question. (This question can be auto-graded since there is one specific correct answer.)
Step 4: Select Exact Match or Any Text Containing.
Step 5: Enter the correct answer.
Essay with Plain Text
Step 1: Select Essay with Plain Text within the Written & Recorded question types.
Step 2: Compose the questions.
Step 3: ❗Open "More Options" and input the point value for this question. If this is not completed, the question will be worth 0 points. (This question will be manually graded by the teacher once the students submit their assessment.)
Essay with Rich Text
Step 1: Select Essay with Rich Text within the Written & Recorded question types.
Step 2: Compose the questions.
Step 3: Select the text formatting options that you wish to be available for the students to utilize.
Step 4: ❗Open "More Options" and input the point value for this question. If this is not completed, the question will be worth 0 points. (This question will be manually graded by the teacher once the students submit their assessment.)
Math Essay with Rich Text
Step 1: Select Math Essay with Rich Text within the Math question types.
Step 2: Compose the questions.
Step 3: Select the text formatting options that you wish to be available for the students to utilize.
Step 4: Under the Symbols section (bottom-right of the image below), you can determine which keypads to make available to your students. Remember, the standard numeric keypad is always included, this section is specifically for the mathematical keypad.
