You can leave audio or video feedback for a student to view on a rubric assessment!
Where you begin will look slightly different, based on if the assessment includes student attachments or not.
With student attachments: select the + symbol.
Without student attachments: Select the ellipsis, then select + Add Attachment.
Audio Feedback
Step 1: Refer to the images above for where to initially click to leave feedback.
Step 2: Select the audio icon.
Step 3: Choose how you want to add your audio.
If you want to add audio that is already on your device, select Browse. The maximum file size is 30mb.
If you want to record live audio with your device, select Record Audio. The audio recording can be up to 5 minutes long.
If you are recording directly into the assessment, follow steps 3 - 6 below.
Step 3: Select the microphone icon in the middle of the recording box. | Step 4: Select the record button in the lower-left corner.

Step 5: When you are done recording, select the stop button in the lower-left corner. | Step 6: Add a name to your voice recording and select Save.

Your audio feedback will now be left for the students to listen to when they review their assessment.
Video Feedback
Step 1: Refer to the images at the beginning of this article for where to initially click to leave feedback.
Step 2: Select the video icon.
Step 3: Choose how you want to add your video.
If you want to add a video that is already on your device, select Browse. The maximum files size is 30mb.
If you want to record a live video with your device, select Record Video. The video can be up to 5 minutes long.
Step 3: Select the camera icon in the middle of the recording box. | Step 4: Select the record button in the lower-left corner. |
Step 5: When you are done recording, select the stop button in the lower-left corner. | Step 6: Add a name to your video and select Save.

Your audio feedback will now be left for the students to listen to when they review their assessment.
How Students View Feedback
Once you've left feedback, the students can access it by completing the following steps:
Step 1: Students will access their graded assessment from their Assessments module.
Step 2: Students will select the Review option.
Step 3: The feedback will present itself as an attachment to the rubric.
In the particular example above, the student has a Google Doc attached to this rubric. The teacher's feedback is added as an attachment, listed after the student attachment.
