General Information

  • Assessment drafts can be edited at any time.

  • With Simple and Rubric assessments, the changes you make will show on the assigned versions of those tests.

  • For information on editing assigned Advanced assessments, click here.

  • If you would like to adjust the grading scale for any assessment, you will need to first clone the assessment to adjust the scale. This also applies to adjusting the criterion for a non-points rubric.

Simple Assessments

The following items in a Simple assessment can be edited and will be visible to students in the assigned assessment:

  • Title and Assessment Type (click here to see how to edit).

  • Questions and Answer Choices: Includes updating text, adding questions, and deleting questions.

  • Correct Answers: Any auto-graded questions are re-scored and the total assessment score is recalculated.

  • Point Values

  • Standards

To edit the contents of a Simple Assessment, select it from your list of assessments on your Drafts Assessments page.

Rubric Assessments

The following items in a Rubric assessment can be edited and will be visible to students in the assigned assessment:

  • Title and Assessment Type (click here to see how to edit).

  • Descriptor Titles or Descriptions: This includes adding or removing descriptors.

  • Criterion (Points Grading Scale): The original score remains. A score would need to be manually adjusted from a 2 if the criteria changed from 0-3 to 1-4.

  • Attachments: Students will have access to any new attachments that are added. Students will lose access to any deleted attachments. This does not apply to Google Docs that are set to create a copy per student. The copy will remain in their Google Drive.

  • Standards

To edit the contents of a Rubric assessment, select it from your list of assessments on your Drafts Assessments page.

+ (Plus) Assessments

The following items in a + assessment can be edited.

  • Title and Assessment Type

  • Point Value: Student scores remain the same as they were before the point value was updated.

  • Standards

  • Submission Date

  • Due Date
