Adding Video and Audio FAQ:

  • What is the time limit for video and audio recorded directly in the activity? 5 minutes for both.
  • What is the size limit for video and audio I upload into the activity? 30 MB for both.
  • What if my video/audio file exceeds the time and file size limits? We recommend uploading the video to a third party host, such as Google Drive or YouTube, then sharing a link to the video in the activity.
  • What if it says my video/audio file is an unsupported format? Try using this website to convert your file.
  • If I record video/audio directly within a lesson, can I download it onto my computer? A video recorded in Otus can not be downloaded onto your computer.
  • When I record video/audio directly within a lesson, can I use it again in another lesson? Yes. The video will be automatically added to your Bookshelf. You can then use it in other lessons.
  • How do I re-record video/audio after I've already created the activity? While you can't re-record directly within the activity, you can create another activity and record the video there.

That's it! You've now learned how to include Video and Audio into your Otus lessons.
