In order to view the progress of a lesson, you'll first have to access it from the Lessons module under your Assigned lessons.

There are two ways to view progress:

  • Per Student: this will show you the progress of each student.

  • Per Activity: this will show you a list of students that have completed or not started the activity, as well as their submission times. If the activity was a multiple choice, true false, or short answer question, it will show you each student's response.

Per Student

To see the lesson progress on a per-student basis, select the list icon in the upper-right corner.

This list will display a progress bar that indicates the number of activities the student has completed. It will also show one of three statuses: Not Started, In Progress, or Completed. It will also show the date and time the lesson was completed.

Per Activity

The default view of your assigned lesson will be the tile view, where you can see the completion status of each activity.

At the bottom of each tile, you can see how many students have completed the activity, as well as how many have seen the activity.

Selecting the activity tile will give a more detailed breakdown of the completion.

There will be an alphabetical list of students, followed by the date/time they submitted the activity, and the status (Completed or Not Started).

If the activity was a multiple choice, true false, or short answer question, there will be a bar chart showing the breakdown of student answers, and another column that shows the student response (see below)

Multiple Choice:

  • The contents of the question are at the top of the page.

  • The correct answer is indicated just under the question.

  • In the upper-right corner, you will see how many students have completed the activity out of the total students this activity was assigned to.

  • The bar chart indicates how many students selected each answer. Upon hovering, you will see the number of students that selected the answer, along with the percentage relative to the rest of the class.

  • The table lists the students in alphabetical order. For each student, it will show the date and time they submitted the activity, the status (seen, completed or not started), and their response.

True False:

  • The contents of the question are at the top of the page.

  • The correct answer is indicated just under the question.

  • In the upper-right corner, you will see how many students have completed the activity out of the total students this activity was assigned to.The bar chart indicates how many students selected each answer. Upon hovering, you will see the number of students that selected the answer, along with the percentage relative to the rest of the class.

  • The table lists the students in alphabetical order. For each student, it will show the date and time they submitted the activity, the status (seen, completed or not started), and their response.

Short Answer:

  • The contents of the question are at the top of the page.

  • In the upper-right corner, you will see how many students have completed the activity out of the total students this activity was assigned to.
