View and Edit Student Recognitions

View the recognitions an individual student has been given or remove recognitions assigned to a specific student.

Recognitions for individual students can be viewed, edited, or removed in the Student Profile.

This article explains how to view and edit recognitions for an individual student. For information about how to view overall analytics for recognitions, click here.

View Individual Student Recognitions

You can view an individual student's recognitions from their student profile. Teachers should follow the steps below to access their student profile. Admin users can search for a student from the District module of their account.

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Students tab of your Classes module.

  • Step 2: Choose the correct class from the dropdown menu.

  • Step 3: Note the Recognitions column on this page, which shows you the total number of positive and negative recognitions given to that student in the selected class only.

  • Step 4: Select the student you wish to view the recognitions for, OR select either the positive or negative recognitions symbol to be taken directly to the recognitions section.

  • Step 5: Navigate to the Reports section and choose Recognitions from the dropdown menu.

The default view will show you all of the recognitions given to this student from all of their classes. To see recognitions for a specific class, choose a class from the dropdown menu.

Edit or Delete a Recognition

From the Recognitions Report in the Student Profile, recognitions can also be edited or deleted.

💡 Tip: Teachers are only able to edit or delete recognitions that they have given (not the recognitions given by other teachers). Administrators can edit or remove recognitions for any student they have permission to view.

Edit Date/Time

  • Click the calendar icon next to the in the Date column for recognition you wish to edit.

  • Select the new date and time.

  • Click Apply.

Add or Edit a Note

  • Click the ellipsis to the right of the recognition you wish to edit.

  • Click Notes.

  • Enter a new note or edit an existing note, then click Save.

Delete a Recognition

  • Select the ellipsis to the right of the recognition you wish to delete, and select Delete.

  • Step 4: Confirm that you are sure you'd like to delete the recognition by selecting Yes.
