At times, you may need to add a video as part of an assignment in Otus. We show you the different ways of adding images below.

1️⃣ To get started, choose to add an attachment. It looks a bit different depending on where you are in Otus.

Click "Choose File" under Student Attachments.

Click on "Choose a file or drag it here."

Click + Add Item in the corner, add the details, and then click Upload to Portfolio.

Make sure you are in "My Bookshelf." Then, click the + button and choose Resource.

Recording on an iPad

You can record directly on your iPads only if you are using Safari.

2️⃣ When you see the box of choices, select the video icon.

3️⃣ Choose how you want to add your video.

➡️ Add a Video

  • Select Browse.

  • Find the video on your device and choose Open.

  • Name the video and select Save.

➡️ Record a Video

  • Select Record Video.

  • Select the camera icon in the middle of the recording box.

💡Note: On the iPad, you will need to approve the use of the camera.

  • Select the record button in the lower-left corner.

  • When you are done recording, select the stop button in the lower-left corner.

  • Add a name to your video and select Save.
