Step 1️⃣ Find the Assessment

  • Check with your teacher to see how you should be logging in.

  • Go to the Assessments Module or click directly on the notification on your home page that the assessment was assigned.

  • Find the Assessment in the list and click on it. You can search for the assessment in the search field, choose the class from the dropdown menu, or filter your assessment list based on the status such as New!, Graded, Turned In, or In Progress.

  • Read the details and select Start.

Step 2️⃣ Read directions and Look for your teacher's attachments.

  • If your teacher added directions or attachments, you will see them at the top. Click on the attachments under the Teacher Attachments section. If your teacher didn't add directions or attachments, you won't have this section.

❗Important Note: Did your teacher assign a Google Doc with the rubric? If they did, go to STEP 3️⃣. If they did not, skip to STEP 4️⃣.

Step 3️⃣ Fill out the Google Doc

  • You can type into the Google Doc right below the rubric.

Step 4️⃣ Add your own attachments.

If your teacher needs you to add an attachment, like a picture or video, here's how:

  • Select Choose file under Student Attachments. There are many options for attachments.

There are help articles with step-by-step directions for adding each type of attachment. Click on the buttons below to see those articles.

Step 5️⃣ Submit the assessment.

  • To submit, click Submit Assessment.

Below is a video from our Otus Live series on how students add attachments to Rubric Assessments.
