Students: Viewing and Adding to the Student Portfolio

This article shows students how to view and add to their student portfolios.

The Student Portfolio is a place to keep items of your work, including assessments, blog posts, artifacts, and uploads.

Adding Assessments 

Step 1️⃣ Click on the Assessments Module.

Step 2️⃣ Click on the assessment you want to add to your portfolio.


Step 3️⃣ Click Review.

Step 4️⃣ Click on the star icon.

  • This will be in different places based on the type of assessment.

Step 5️⃣ Enter any notes about the assessment and click Save.

  • You can leave this blank if you'd like to.


Adding a Blog Post

Step 1️⃣ Select the Blog module.
Step 2️⃣ Click on the title of the blog you'd like to add.
Step 3️⃣ Click on the star.

Step 4️⃣ Enter any notes about the blog post and click Save.

  • You can leave this blank if you'd like to.


Adding an Item (Artifact)

Step 1️⃣: Once in the portfolio, click on + Add Item.


Step 2️⃣: Enter the Title, Class, and Submission Date (required). You may also add comments or details regarding the object you're adding.


Step 3️⃣: Add a description of your object if you'd like and then choose Save.


Step 4️⃣: Choose the type of file you want to add.

  • Click on any type below to see how to add it to your portfolio


Step 5️⃣: Click Save to complete your upload.
