Student Guide: View and Add to Your Student Portfolio

For students: Learn how to view and add items to your student portfolio.

Imagine you have a binder of all of the work you were most proud of each year. That's exactly what your student portfolio allows you to do. These items can be viewed by your administrators, teachers, and any family members that are linked to your account.

Viewing your portfolio is easy! Click on the star icon in the options on the left to see all of your items listed. If you'd like to take a closer look at any specific item, just click on the tile.


Adding Assessments 

1️⃣ Click on the Assessments module.

2️⃣ Click on the assessment you want to add to your portfolio.


3️⃣ Click Review.

4️⃣ Click on the star icon.

The star will be in different spots on the assessment page based on the type of assessment.

Advanced Assessment

Simple Assessment

5️⃣ Enter any notes about the assessment and click Save.

This section is optional. If you don't have any additional notes to add, you can just click save.


Adding a Blog Post

1️⃣ Select the Blog module.
2️⃣ Click on the title of the blog you'd like to add.
3️⃣ Click on the star.

4️⃣ Enter any notes about the assessment and click Save.

This section is optional. If you don't have any additional notes to add, you can just click save.


Adding an Item (Artifact)

1️⃣ Once in the portfolio, click on + Add Item.


2️⃣ Enter the Title, Class, and Submission Date (required). You may also add comments or details regarding the object you're adding.


3️⃣ Add a description of your object if you'd like and then choose Save.


4️⃣ Choose the type of file you want to add.

Click on any type below to see how to add it to your portfolio


5️⃣ Click Save to complete your upload.
