There are three different ways that Canvas LMS users can direct students to their Otus assessments through their Canvas LMS Course.
Option 1: Add a Page to a Course
By creating an Otus page in your Canvas LMS course, students will be able to use the same information to access their Otus assessments so that teachers do not need to create a new link for every assessment.
Instructions:
Create a page within your course and title it "Otus" or "Otus Assessments"
Then, add any message along with a link to: https://my.otus.com/assessment/list
Students will use this page and the link provided to access any Otus assessment.
Direct students to a specific assessment.
You can create a direct link to search the list of assessments for the student.
Take this URL: https://my.otus.com/assessment/list?search=
Following the equal sign: add the title of your assessment
Example: https://my.otus.com/assessment/list?search=Language-G1-44
Ensure no spaces between the equal sign and the assessment title.
The student must be logged into their Otus account.
The student must have been assigned the assessment with that title.
Option 2: Create an Assignment
By creating an assignment that links to a student's Otus assessments, the students will be able to access the assessment from their Course Calendar and To Do list.
Instructions:
Create a new Assignment in Canvas LMS
Then add any message along with a link to: https://my.otus.com/assessment/list
Option 3: Create an Announcement
Similar to creating an assignment, an announcement will direct students to their Otus assessments.
Instructions:
Create a new Announcement in Canvas LMS
Then add any message along with a link to: https://my.otus.com/assessment/list
