To provide access to a Google Doc in a Simple Assessment, you can add a link to the document that will allow students to open it in a new tab.

To add a link to a Google Doc:

  • Step 1: Once you have created your Simple Assessment, you'll want to add a question.

  • Step 2: Copy/paste the link from the Google Doc into the Simple Assessment question. Select Save when you've finished creating the question.

➡️ The link will be an active link when students take the assessment. They can click on the link to open up the document in a separate tab.

💡 Tip: If you want to embed a Google Doc in an assessment check out the options available using an Advanced assessment or a Rubric assessment.
