Link or embed Google Docs in your Advanced Assessments.

You can use Google Docs in an Advanced Assessment in two ways:


Embed a Google Doc in an Advanced Assessment

You can embed a Google Doc or Slide into any question on an Advanced Assessment.

  • Step 1: While you are building the question, you will see a Source button on the toolbar. Select this button.

  • Step 2: Copy and paste the following link into the HTML Editor Tool :
    <iframe height="700px" src="URL" window.screen.availWidth"></iframe>

  • Step 3: Add the URL of the Google Doc in place of the URL above.❗It is important that you adjust the sharing settings of the Google Doc so that students are able to open/edit the Doc.

➡️ Your Google Doc or Slide should now appear as part of the Advanced Assessment question!

Add a Link to a Google Doc in an Advanced Assessment

You can add a link to a Google Doc or Slide into any question on an Advanced Assessment.

  • Step 1: While you are building the question, you will see a link icon on the toolbar. Highlight the text you'd like to link, then select this button.

  • Step 2: Copy and paste the link for the Google Doc into the URL field. Then select OK.

➡️ The link will now be live. The student will be able to click on the link while they are taking the assessment.
