The Student Portfolio is a place to keep items of student work, including assessments, blog posts, artifacts, and uploads. Any work added to the portfolio can be seen by teacher, student, and family accounts.
This is an example of a student portfolio as seen from within a teacher's account.
Add an Item
Step 1: Navigate to the Students tab in your Classes module, select the correct class from the dropdown menu, and then select the student for the portfolio you want to add to (Teachers).
Admin users can follow the method described above, or can access the student profile by searching for the student in the District module of their account, then clicking on that student's tile.
Step 2: Select the Content tab. You will see the three most recent items added to the portfolio, along with the any blog posts that have been added. To see all items that have been added to the portfolio, click on the Portfolio title.
💡 Tip: Click on any item in the portfolio to see it in greater detail. The only exception; teachers can only open assessment that they have assigned. Teachers can see details for all assessments, but can only see the contents of their own assessments.
Step 3 Once in the portfolio, click on + Add Item.
Step 4: Enter the Title, Class, Submission Date (required).
Step 5: Add a Comment (optional).
Step 6: Click the upload to Portfolio button.
Step 7: Select the type of item you want to add.
