You can use Manage Assignees to add new students to existing assigned lessons or unassign a lesson from the entire class or specific students.
Unassign from an Entire Class
Step 1: Navigate to your Lessons module.
Step 2: Select Assigned.
Step 3: Select the desired class.
Step 4: Select the ellipsis to the right of the lesson.
Step 5: Select Unassign.
Step 6: If you still want to unassign after reading the prompt, select Yes.
❗ Please unassign with caution, as this action cannot be undone.
Unassign from Specific Students (Manage Assignees)
Step 1: Navigate to your Lessons module.
Step 2: Select Assigned.
Step 3: Select the desired class.
Step 4: Select the ellipsis to the right of the lesson.
Step 5: Select Manage Assignees.
Step 6: Uncheck the box next to the student(s) that you want to unassign that lesson from.
Step 7: If you still want to unassign after reading the prompt, select Yes.
Note: If you select Yes, the lesson will be removed from the student's view and the teacher's list of assignees. If you re-select the check box, the lesson, and any student data associated with it, will reappear.
💡 If you're looking to give a student a fresh start, leave the box unchecked and reassign the lesson from the Lessons module.

Step 5: Select Manage Assignees.

Can I unassign multiple lessons at once?
Lessons can only be unassigned one at a time.

If I accidentally unassign a lesson, can I restore it?
Unassigning a lesson can't be undone; please be sure to unassign with caution!
Why do I see students listed in "Manage Assignees" who are no longer in my class?
Data associated with assigned lessons remain after a student has been unenrolled from a class.
