Journey to Success Gallery

Add, edit, and delete artifacts you have uploaded to a student's Gallery to showcase the five Journey to Success Skills.

The Gallery is a place for you and your students to add artifacts that showcase the five Journey to Success Skills. Each artifact will be linked to 1 or more of the five Journey to Success Skills.

  • Emerging Innovator

  • Globally & Culturally Competent Citizen

  • Prepared & Resilient Learner

  • Productive Collaborator

This is an example of a student's Gallery as viewed from a teacher's account.

ℹ️ Important Information

  • Students can view, edit, and delete all artifacts in their Gallery, including those added by others.

  • Teachers can only edit or delete artifacts they have personally added.


Journey to Success Gallery

The Gallery landing page has four essential details.

  1. Student List: First and last names of all students you have access to

  2. Artifact Count: Total number of artifacts each student has in their Gallery

  3. Journey to Success Skills Breakdown: Number of artifacts each student has for each of the five Journey to Success Skills.

  4. Student Search: Quickly locate students using the built-in search function.


Student Gallery

Click anywhere on a student’s row to open their Gallery.

The student's Gallery will provide the following details.

  1. Add Artifact - Click on the Add Artifact button to add an artifact to the Gallery.

  2. Search - Find uploaded artifacts by typing 3 consecutive letters from the title.

  3. School Year - Filter artifacts by selecting a school year from the drop-down.

  4. Skills List - The Artifacts tab houses all artifacts that have been uploaded.

  • The number beside the title shows how many artifacts have been linked.

  • Click into a Skill to view its linked artifacts.

5. Artifacts - Click on the artifact to open, edit, or delete.

  • The color-coded tags on an artifact indicate the linked skills.

  • The timestamp of the latest edit, by either you or the student, is shown in the top-right corner of each artifact.


Add an Artifact

Click Add Artifact in the top right corner.

Step 1: Add File

  • Upload the artifact (Add File or Add from Google Drive).

  • Add a Name for the artifact.

  • Select the School Year (default is the current year).

  • Click Next.

Step 2: Select Skills

  • Select one (or more) Skills that apply to the artifact.

  • Click Next.

💡 Use the button if you are unsure what skills to select.

Step 3: Write a Reflection

  • Type a Reflection for the artifact. (5,000 character limit)

    • Formatting options include bold, italic, underline, bulleted and numbered list, and link.

  • Add Artifact.

The artifact has now been added to the student's Gallery.


Edit an Artifact

ℹ️ Teachers can only edit artifacts they have personally added to the Gallery.

Step 1: Click the artifact you want to edit.

Step 2: Select Edit at the top right corner.

  • These are the edits you can make:

    • 1. Remove and select a new artifact

    • 2. Artifact name

    • 3. School year for the artifact

    • 4. Add or remove Skills

    • 5. Update reflection

Step 3: Click Save in the top right corner.


View an Artifact

Step 1: Locate the artifact.

Ensure you've selected the correct school year. Then, locate the artifact in one of the following ways:

  • Option 1: Search by the artifact's title.

  • Option 2: Search by Skill. Select a Skill that is linked to the artifact.

  • Option 3: Scroll through the complete list of artifacts.

Step 2: Click on the artifact you want to view.

Step 3: Click on the artifact to open and view it.


Delete an Artifact

❗️Note: Deleting an artifact will remove it from the Gallery, along with its details.

This action cannot be undone.

ℹ️ Teachers can only delete artifacts they have personally added to the Gallery.

Step 1: Click the artifact you want to delete.

Step 2: Click on the Delete button at the top right corner.

Step 3: Click Delete in the warning message only if you are ready. This artifact cannot be restored.
