Easily create custom reports to analyze the data you have collected in Otus. Reports can be used to differentiate student populations, track progress over time, compare cohorts, and more!
Query and Historical reports are located in the Reports section of Analytics. Reports are available in Main Admin and Admin accounts.
When to use Query vs. Historical
Query Reports allow you to identify a subset of students who meet certain criteria.
Examples:
Which 4th grade students are performing below target on a specific 3rd party assessment and our most recent district common assessment?
Which students have a score of "Exceeds" on our grade-level reading standards?
Which students at our elementary school have had at least 5 positive recognitions for Teamwork during the previous month?
Historical Reports allow you to compare performance of cohorts on 3rd party assessments and certain Otus assessments. For 3rd party assessments, performance can also be tracked over time.
Examples:
Did the new mathematics program increase student performance on the state assessment over previous years?
How do the students in co-taught classes compare to the rest of the student body on the NWEA ELA MAP Test?
How did the current 8th-grade students perform on the Spring NWEA MAP Test this year compared to last year as 7th graders?

Manage Saved Reports
Saved Query and Historical Reports are listed on the Reports page. To open a saved report, click anywhere on the row where it is listed.
Edit, Clone, or Delete a Query or Historical Report
Click the ellipsis menu to the right of the saved report to see the actions available.
Edit: Enter the builder view of the report in order to make and save changes.
Clone: Create a copy of a report.
The new copy will appear at the top of your list of saved reports and will be appended with "- Copy" (Example: Horizon Data Fall 22-23 - Copy).
To edit the title, select the Edit option from the ellipsis menu.
Delete: Permanently delete a report.
Send a Copy of a Query Report
When you click the ellipsis menu to the right of a Query report, you will see an additional option; Send Copy. Sending a copy of a report is only available for Query reports and not for Historical reports.
Select Send Copy from the ellipsis menu.
Type the user's complete email address into the Recipient Email field.
Select Send.
A green confirmation message will appear on your screen in the upper right corner.
❗ Please note: copies of queries can only be sent to other administrators in your district. You are unable to send copies of queries to administrators in other districts.
