Gradebook Passback: Getting Started

Important Notes

  1. The Points Grading Scale must be turned on within the Control Center of the Main Admin account.

  2. More than one Grading Scale can be turned on with the Control Center of the Main Admin account. This will allow teachers to create both points-based and standards-based assessments.

  3. Any standards data collected does not pass back to the SIS gradebook.

Using Assessments Gradebook

Linking Standards

Points grading scale must be selected during the creation of the assessment.

Standards data can still be collected when using a points-based assessment.

The total value of the individual assessment is what passes back to the SIS grade book, not the total grade of all assessments.

To view the standards data collected, navigate to the Standards Gradebook and filter to the Points grading scale.

Any Otus Gradebook conversions do not reflect in the SIS grade book.

The standards data collected does not pass back to the SIS grade book.

Below you will find specific information on how to implement Gradebook Passback, organized by specific Student Information System.
