Adding the PFT Tile to 3rd Party Analytics
If this is your first time accessing the PFT, you will need to add the Physical Fitness Test tile. Follow these directions below:
Step 1: Select Analytics
Step 2: Select the + Add New tile
Step 3: If you are a teacher of a Physical Education class or an administrator, you will be able to select Physical Fitness Test.
Step 4: Select Add Tool

❗ Note - if you do not see the option to add the Physical Fitness test, that means you are neither a teacher of a Physical Education class or an administrator.
Navigating the Physical Fitness Test
Step 1: Select Analytics.
Note that the Analytics module is the second module for administrators.
Step 2: Select the Physical Fitness Test tile.
A new tab will open in your browser.

❗ Seeing an "Unauthorized" page? There could be a few reasons for that: ![]()
Addressing the above three issues should give you access to the PFT page. |
Navigation Menu

Entry: Where the data is entered.
Participation: Where you can easily see the levels of performance of each student for each category.
State Extract (only available in the main admin account): Where you can download a .txt file of the data.
❗ For Admin: In order to see data, you must begin typing in the name of a Physical Education teacher into the search field. Select their name and choose from their Physical Education classes in the dropdown menu that appears to the right. See below:

Entry
In this tab, student data can be entered for the various categories:

✅ Note: In each category, you are able to filter your view to see all students, only students that do not have data (incomplete), or only students that do have data (complete). You can also search for a specific student. See below:

❗ A category is considered complete for a student when at least one full exercise has been entered for that category.

Completion StatusSince some of the categories have multiple exercises, this table will display the "best" score for each of the categories. ➡️ For example, Aerobic Capacity has the One-Mile Run, the PACER, and the Walk Test. If the PACER test is displayed here, that would indicate the student's best score in the Aerobic Capacity category was for the PACER test. ![]() Key: ![]() 💡 Tip from the Otus Team: To learn more about how the scores are calculated for each exercise, check out this resource. |
