When you are on your assessments page, there might be a lot to look at. This article will explain what it all means.

On your assessments page, there is a:

➡️ Classes Dropdown and Search Bar

  • If you are trying to find an assessment that was assigned in a specific class, you can choose that class from the dropdown menu.

  • If you are trying to find an assessment based on the name of the assessment, you can use the search bar to type into.

➡️ Title

  • Bold Title: This means you have not started this assessment yet.

  • Light Gray Title: This means the assessment isn't open yet. If you hover the assessment, it will tell you when it will become available.

➡️ Type

  • This is the type of assessment. It could be a test, assignment, homework, journal, lab, observation, paper, presentation, project, quiz, test, or worksheet.

➡️ Due Date

  • This is the day the assessment is due.

  • If you see a - , that means there isn't a due date.

  • If you do not submit the assessment by the due date, it will be automatically marked as missing.

➡️ Points

  • This is the number of points the assessment is worth.

  • If the assessment has been graded, you will be able to see how many points you earned.

  • If this space is blank, the assessment didn't have any points on it. That means your teacher is grading that assessment based on standards instead of points.

➡️ Status

There are 4 statuses:

You have not opened the assessment yet.

You have opened the assessment, but have not submitted it yet.

You have submitted the assessment, but the teacher has not graded it yet.

The assessment has been graded.

You may also see one of these next to a status:

  • These mean that your assessment has been marked missing or late. Remember, assessments that haven't been submitted by the due date will automatically be marked missing.
