The bookshelf gives you a place directly in Otus to view resources that your teachers have shared with you. You also can save your own resources to your own bookshelf so you can have quick and easy access to them. Here's everything you can do with your bookshelf:

  • View resources that your teacher shares with you

  • Add your own resources - study guides, online study resources, helpful documents

  • Organize your resources into folders

  • Share your resources with your teachers

View Shared Resources

Shared with me is where you will find all of the resources that have been shared to you. You can view the full list of shared resources or you can view your resources by class.

1️⃣ Open the bookshelf. Make sure you are on the Shared With Me tab.

2️⃣ Select the class from the All Resources dropdown.

3️⃣ Click on a resource to see what it is.

4️⃣ Click on the direct link to the resource to visit the website or download the file (image, PDF, document) to your device.

Add Resources

1️⃣ Choose the My Bookshelf tab. Then click on the + button and click Resource.

2️⃣ Click on the + button and click Resource.

3️⃣ Choose the type of resource you want to add.

Organize Your Resources

1️⃣ Open My Bookshelf and click on the + button to select Folder.

2️⃣ Name your folder and click Done.

Manage Your Resources

➡️ Share

  • Click on the three dots beside your resource and click Share.

  • Then select the teacher(s) you want to share it with.

➡️ Edit

  • Click on the three dots next to the resource and click Edit to edit the title.

➡️ Move

  • Click on the three dots next to the resource and click Move. Next, click on the folder you want to move it to.

➡️ Delete

  • Click on the three dots beside the resource and click Delete. Click Delete again to confirm.

🚨 Once you delete the resource, you'll have to add it again from the original source. Be sure you really want to delete it!
