Both teachers and students have the ability to star assessments and blog posts, putting them in a section of the student profile that parents can see.  This is a great way to save work that the teacher or student is proud of to view later and share with families.

Uploading an Item to the Portfolio

While the individual modules of Otus have their own way of being added to the portfolio, you can upload anything to the portfolio from the student profile.

Navigate to the class that contains the student you wish to upload work for.

Click on the student tile of the correct student. Within the student profile, then click Content tab along the top. The Portfolio will be listed at the top. Click on Portfolio to view all of the items that have been added to the student portfolio.

To add a new item, click + Add item.

First, you'll have to title the upload, and specify which class you are connecting it to.  Then, click the upload button to bring up our upload options: Video URL, Image URL, File Upload, GoogleDrive, etc.  Also, there is an optional comment section for the teacher to explain why they wish to share this to the student portfolio.
