When a student is removed from a class, their assessment data from the previous class will be hidden from all analytics besides the Otus Report Card tool.  Whether you're manually removing them and adding them to another class in Otus, or you're editing the rostering in your SIS so the changes will take place in Otus, it's important to capture that data before you make your changes and upload it as an attachment in the student profile for future reference.

For Standards Based Grades

First, Head to the applicable class's gradebook.  If you don't already see your standards based grades, click the Standards tab.

You will now be looking at your entire standards gradebook.  To capture the gradebook as a .CSV file, make sure you're looking at the proper calculation and mastery term settings, then click the download button.

You will then be able to upload that file to the student's profile as an attachment.  navigate to the Classes module, and click on the transferring student's tile.

Click on the Information tab, scroll to the bottom, then click the Plus sign under Attachments

Click the Upload button, then Browse to select the .CSV file you downloaded from the standards gradebook. Once you choose the file, click Save

Now, you can remove the student from their previous class, or make the change in your SIS, and you'll always have their standards grades in a .csv file to refer to in the future.

For Points Based Grades

First, Head to the applicable class's gradebook. By default, you'll be viewing their points grades and average for all periods, which is most likely what you want to be exporting before removing them from the class.  Click the ellipses button, then Download CSV to download a .csv file of the class's grades.
