Otus allows you to integrate PARCC data into the platform.
To view PARCC data for a single student, navigate to the student profile.
From there, if they have any third party data, you will be able to access it under the Reports tab. Once you click on Reports, scroll down to see the PARCC data.
To see the data for groups of students, you may visualize this information in Analytics. To get started, select Analytics from the left side of the page.
By default, you will view the 3rd Party module. Select the PARCC tile from the list and click Filter at the top of the page to disaggregate PARCC data by class, flag, or student.
Select a year from the PARCC Summary drop-down menu.
You will now be given a summary of the data for ELA and Math, including test averages for both ELA and MATH.
Otus will display student performance based upon the uploaded data set that details if a student Exceeded, Met, Approached, Partially Met, and Did Not Meet Expectations. To view a detailed list of each level of mastery, click on a specific bar from the graph.
After selecting the specific bar from the graph, you will be able to view a group breakdown of students. You may then assign those students to a Flag by selecting Manage Flags.
Below the PARCC Summary bar graph, you will find the PARCC Breakdown information. For each subcategory, Otus will display students who are Below Expectations, Nearly Meets Expectations, and Meets or Exceeds Expectations. To view a detailed list of students for each subcategory, click on the pie chart.
Finally, Otus will display an Individual Breakdown for each student’s PARCC Results. The Individual Breakdown includes the ELA Total, Math Total, and results from each specific subcategory. This breakdown can be downloaded as a .CSV file with student number and emails by clicking the download button in the top right corner of the table.
Clicking on a specific student's name will display a graphic visualizing that student’s results on PARCC.
