Otus defines specific demographic information including Grade Level, Race/Ethnicity, and Gender as student attributes. Once your students are rostered in Otus, please follow the steps below to confirm that attributes are correctly populating the Student Profile.
Step 1: Log in to Otus at my.otus.com using your Main Administrator Credentials.
Step 2: Click into the Classes Module.
Step 3: Click on a student's name from the roster you are viewing.
You can change the Class you are viewing using the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
Step 4: Click the Pencil icon in the upper left hand corner of the Student Profile.
Step 5: Confirm that Grade Level, Gender, and Race/Ethnicity are correctly populated in Otus.
The Otus team asks that you follow the same steps to review attributes for several students. We appreciate your help in ensuring that data is populating correctly in Otus.
Once you have reviewed student attributes in Otus, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to either confirm that student attributes are populating correctly or to share any errors recorded.
If you are seeing an error or missing attribute, please include the student name and SIS ID in your email so our team can investigate further.
