Using the Calendar module, students can add events themselves, as well as view the events added by their teachers.

*note - if a teachers adds an assessment or lesson with a due date, it will automatically appear on the student's calendar!

The Calendar module has two sections; the To Do List and the Calendar:

The To Do List shows events for one day at a time, with the default set at the current day.

The Calendar will show events by the month, week, or day, with month being the default.

The student can choose which classes to view in both sections by selecting them from the dropdown menu in the upper-right corner

Adding an Event

*note - adding an event to the To Do List will automatically add it to the Calendar, and vice-versa.

Click on the + symbol to add an event.

The student can then add the details of their event:

1 - If the event has a specific time, uncheck All day. Then choose the date and time for the event

2 - Choose which class (optional) the event applies to.

3 - Determine if the event will repeat. If a repetition is chosen, then specify when it will end.

4 - Add a title for the event and any notes (notes are optional).

Editing or Deleting an Event

*note - editing or deleting an event on the To Do List will automatically edit or delete that event on the  Calendar, and vice-versa.

  • While in the To Do List, click on the ellipses to the right of the event you wish to edit, and click Edit or Delete
  • While on the Calendar, click on the event you wish to edit, then click on the pencil icon to edit, or the trash can icon to delete.

Changing the Calendar View

While on the calendar, you can change the view to day, month, or year by selecting the applicable view in the upper right hand corner.
