Scenario 1

You've administered and graded a Bubble Sheet Assessment for some of your students/classes, but want to add a question, remove a question, or edit the standards attached to a question

Adding or Deleting a Question:

  • You can add or delete questions by accessing the assessment through the Drafts section. Select the assessment you wish to make edits to.

*Best practice for when a question is added or removed is to unassign the original assessment from any students/classes that have not yet taken it, assign the new assessment, and reprint the answer sheets*

*IMPORTANT TO NOTE*

  • If you add a question, any answer sheet scanned that does not include that additional question WILL NOT be accepted:
  • If you delete a question, the answer sheets will still be accepted, however, the answer key will no longer match, so the scores will not be accurate. You will have to adjust the answer key to accommodate the deleted question:

Editing Standards

  • In either case, you can click to change the standard that is linked, or to add a standard if one is not already linked.
  • You will not have to re-scan the answer sheets to reflect these changes. The standards gradebook will automatically update with any changes made to the standards.

Scenario 2

You've administered and graded a Bubble Sheet Assessment, but realize there is a mistake on your answer key and need to change it.

  • You can edit the answer key by accessing the assessment through the Drafts section. Select the assessment you wish to make edits to.
  • You can change the answer to any question here:

*IMPORTANT TO NOTE*

  • GradeCam WILL NOT automatically adjust scores for the answer key change. For students that have a score already recorded, those answer sheets will need to be rescanned to accommodate the answer key change.
