For Points-Based Assessments

If your assessment is a points-based assessment, you can change the status from the gradebook. First, navigate to the points-based gradebook and use the dropdown to select which class you're editing.

Double-click to the right of the grade in the column with the test name you wish to edit as the header. From here, you can select the status you wish to give the assessment per student.  Double click for any change you wish to make. 

For Standards-Based Assessments with a Grading Scale

Advanced Assessments

Navigate to your Assigned Assessments list for the appropriate class.

Click the row of the assessment you wish to edit, then click "Grade" or "Regrade" next to the applicable student.

In the top right corner of the screen, you can edit the status. Once your changes are made, click "Save".

Rubric Assessments

Navigate to your Assigned Assessments list for the appropriate class.

Click the row of the assessment you wish to edit.

Double click the status of any row you wish to edit, and you will be able to change it by clicking "Select Status", and making your changes. 

This change will be autosaved.

Simple Assessments

Navigate to your Assigned Assessments list for the appropriate class.

Click the row of the assessment you wish to edit, then click "Grade" next to the appropriate student.

You can change the status at the top of the assessment, then click "Save & Exit".

Please find additional information about the drop down options that appear when grading an assessment.

If you change the due date of an assessment after a student has submitted the assessment, you will have to manually adjust the status for the student.
