View Classes

To view your classes, log in.  Your home page should show you a series of tiles, one for each of your classes.  If you don't see any classes yet, you need to add some!

To view the students in a class, you can click on any of the class tiles.

From here, you can view which groups each student are in, as well as how many positive/negative recognitions each has.  You can switch between classes with the drop down menu in the center above the student tiles.

Each class has its own separate seating chart, attendance list, participation list, and class board.  You can also communicate with your students or parents using the Mailbox feature.

To begin working in the Assessment module, click the government building icon.

Here, you will be able to view a list of all assessments you've created, both item based and rubric based.  Click the hyperlinks for more information on how to create each type of assessment.  To view your assigned assessments, click on Assigned and use the drop down to specify which class you'd like to view.

View Your Gradebook

To view your gradebook, click on the banner icon just below the assessments icon.

Here, you can view student total scores in the first column, and each individual assessment score in the columns following. Use the drop down to switch between classes.

If you prefer to grade on standard mastery, you can toggle between points and standards gradebook at the top right corner.  In order to assess standard mastery, you have to attach standards to your items and rubric descriptors when you're building assessments.

Your bookshelf is a place you can store and title weblinks and files.  From your bookshelf, you can easily share those resources with individual students, teachers, entire classes, or groups.  To navigate to your bookshelf, click on the book icon on the left side of the Otus app.
