A participation report allows you to visualize engagement data collected at the classroom level. In addition to proficiency data like grades, the participation report provides another holistic element to the data discussion about student performance.

The participation report visualizes the number of times a student has been called on and the number of times a student has raised their hand during class.

In order to start a report, select Analytics from the home page and select Participation.

Within this window, you can use the Filters at the top right of the page and select a date range to disaggregate the Participation data.  When you are satisfied with the criteria, select Run Report.

At the top of the report, you can visualize a summary of student participation. This view enables you to observe the number of times a student has been called on and the number of times a student has raised their hand during class.

Now, select a student’s name from the participation summary table.  Scroll down the page to view Participation analytics for an individual student.
